My fiance and I met five years ago in a set up by my best friend and his younger brother, who had been dating a few years and are still happy together, but we're getting married first. He drove out the hour and a half to come to a party and we hit it off right away. We started off instant messaging each other. Then our first official date was meeting at a city about half way between us both to see the movie "Reign Over Me" with Adam Sandler. After that we started taking turns making the trip out to stay at each other's homes each weekend. We both had good jobs that we were not able to leave. I had no idea that he was going to propose 2 1/2 years ago. He did it right by asking my father first and designing the ring himself based on things he had heard me mention that I liked to friends over the years. Our engagement was so long because I was working on earning my Master's degree in school leadership, while working full time. I wanted to make sure that I could focus more on planning a great wedding and he loved me enough to wait and follow my wishes. He also had to find a new job so I could keep working my dream job as a teacher (it is very hard to get teaching jobs in Ohio). After more than a year of searching, he finally found a great job in the area at the beginning of May and moved in with me! Sadly, he can't take off time for a honeymoon until he has been with the company for at least 90 days, so the September dates would be perfect timing for his requirements. After all of our years living apart and hard work finding and keeping our jobs we deserve our dream honeymoon but cannot afford it so this is the perfect opportunity for us to spend time together without any worries!
We met through my best friend since middle school and my fiancee's younger brother. They had been dating for a few years and thought that we should meet each other so they made him drive out over an hour to a party here. The rest is history!
http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/56356 This listing inspires me because I have always wanted to go to Hawaii and this looks like the best possible place to stay. If it is good enough to inspire the Presedential family while on vacation imagine what it can do for average citizens! One of the best beaches in the world would be a great place to take my fiance who has never seen the ocean before.
1. We are proud to represent our favorite college sports teams, his Notre Dame and my alma mater Baldwin-Wallace College. 2. Our first official dates were often meeting each other in the middle and going to the movies so we have a HUGE DVD collection that we can now watch together at home! 3. We love the outdoors, even though we live in an apartment and have just a small patio, it is decked out with furniture and solar lights for us to enjoy the outdoors.
