A journey worth

Submitted by: joshuaandnoel

My name is Noel Bridston and I am engaged to Josh Martin. We are 26 and 27 years old and we are from two opposite ends of the world. We met in Kona, Hawaii, while doing missions and that's where we fell in love. It took three years of dating with one of those years being about 6,000 miles apart. We are currently planning our wedding in the countryside of Nashville with a very small budget and lots of generosity and love from our family and friends. We love adventure and definitely traveling and we hope that this honeymoon is our first adventure together!

Airbnb is all about connections - connecting to new people, places, and neighborhoods. In 150 words or less, tell us what your connection was like when you first met.

We met at an outside cafeteria in Kona, HI through a mutual friend. We were both quite shy with one another but felt talking to one another was very easy. We never stopped eating breakfast together after that morning.

Find a listing on airbnb.com that inspires you and tell us why.

"Trees and Zzz'z"...It shows that you can experience nature in a very nonintrusive and very comfortable way as well as how creative we can be when we use our surroundings.

We are all about unique accommodations. Tell us three things about your home together that are unique to you as a couple.

A lot of our dishes and decor is centered around trees and wood, reflecting the places that we've been to and come from.
Our artwork is family painted and designed.
Our table is an antique that is a dark rustic wood that our grandparents picked up at an auction for us, that they stained and refurbished just for us.
