Karen works with adults and children with disabilities. Sadly this does not pay very well. She works long hours. Often leaving the house a 6:00am and not returning until 9:30pm. Jason works as an Operations Manager for SEARS. He works 10-13 hours everyday. They both work very hard and are still not able to have to wedding of there dreams and a honeymoon it out of the question.
There families can not aide in the cost either. Karen's father used to run a delivery business selling tire parts. But after his battle with cancer the family funds have been tapped out.

Just a dream

Karen and Jason would just like time together. They have dreamed of a trip to Hawaii. Watching the sunset on the water, waking up with a cup of Kona coffee and spending the day learning about the 49th state. Karen and Jason look forward to there time together however it is spent.

Airbnb is all about connections - connecting to new people, places, and neighborhoods. In 150 words or less, tell us what your connection was like when you first met.

We first met when I walked into the store that Jason was working at. We were both shy so it took many visits for us to get to know each other well enough for him to ask me out.

Find a listing on airbnb.com that inspires you and tell us why.

"Rare Waikiki Grand Treasure in Honolulu" looks like the perfect spot for Jason and I. We love the water and being close to town and shopping areas. I am excited about trying Teddy's Bigger Burgers (a restaurant listed as nearby). They have a veggie burger and Jason is a vegetarian so that will be great.

We are all about unique accommodations. Tell us three things about your home together that are unique to you as a couple.

For about a year I had joked that our (non existent) clapper was broken. I would try to clap the lights on and off with no success. So he bought one and plugged it in without telling me.
Also we have no kids right now but we love spending time with my nieces and nephews so we have a ton of stuffed animals, crafts and coloring books around the house.
Finally we love spending time together but we are short on cash these days. So we have a bowl where we save our coins and when we find something we want to do together that maybe more than we have in the bank, we use our coins to make up the difference.
